“ Tremendous service, great enchilada with verde sauce, and that soup- so tasty! If I could change just one thing it would be to adjust the salsa to have more cilantro and onion- the current recipe is on the bland side. Definitely a great place to add to your restaurant rotation! ”
“ Best spot for Mexican seafood! Especially if you go with a big group and share the snapper. It's also awesome that they have karaoke too. ”
“ Great little place in downtown. The food is very good and the service is awesome. Highly recommend ”
“ I love La Bahia, it's my favorite Mexican place in all of Champaign-Urbana! I've been back so many times and every time I get the "La Bahia", it's generous portion, delicious, and you can eat with alone or with a tortilla. We also got a fried fish dish twice, on the pricier end but also very tasty. I'm surprised by how much I like the green pasta side. Not pictured, but we also love the tacos :) Servers have handled large parties of 10 and are kind! The ambiance is okay, I preferred to be seated on the left side of the restaurant! ”
“ Great drink specials on certain days and the food is outstanding. Even my wife likes the food and she's very picky about Mexican since she is Mexican. ”
“ Seafood gets 4 stars out of 5. Server came by several times and ask if we wanted anything. I base my tips on how well the water glasses are full and condiments are made available without asking. ”
“ La Bahia is not your typical Mexican restaurant... it's better! They have great seafood as well as traditional Mexican cuisine. I love the namesake food of the restaurant and also the tilapia. I'm excited to try out more cuisine when I return. ”
“ Tasty food, great murals. A variety of salsas were available- all were fresh and good. I really liked the spicy soup they served us as we were seated. I had fish tacos with black beans and diced potatoes. I liked the tacos and the beans were cooked and spiced nicely. Great to see a lot of seafood on the menu. Will return to try other interesting dishes. ”
